Ideally located in the heart of Montreal, Hotel Les Suites Labelle are a great place to be, as it holds a significant number of places to get the tasty breakfast food to start your day.
Restaurant L’Avenue, located at 922 Avenue du Mont-Royal E is a great spot to start your day, especially if you are into the slightly retro vibe of the ’90s. It has a special interior design, filled with 3D murals, which is bound to make you feel just like you are in a ‘90s flick. Eggs benedict are what most of the regulars recommend you taste first.
This place is more low key, which is why it can be rightfully dubbed to have a hipster-like feel to it. However, that doesn’t mean that the food isn’t tasty and it can boast one of the most diverse selections of smoked salmon and curated meat. It’s located at 5322 boul. Saint-Laurent and it will serve you one of the best English breakfast meals in the area.
Bistro Le Passé Composé
Located at 1310 Boul de Maisonneuve E, this establishment is quite different than the Sparrow. It’s rather common to see people waiting in line to get in there, but the delicious breakfast and brunch food they are making are sure worth the wait.
This breakfast place has a wide array of breakfast food, from the standard American breakfast to sandwiches with smoked salmon and eggs benedict, a combination that is simply out of this world. The take out service is great and there’s virtually no difference if you decide to stay in or take the food on the go.
Most people do not consider breakfast to be completed without a dose of sugar to help you kick-start your energy for the long day ahead of you. Bagel Etc. is located at 4320 boul. Saint-Laurent (coin Marie-Anne) and it has been endorsed by many popular magazines, such as AskMen. The combination of delicious foods, which are mostly quite rich in calories, with freshly baked bagels is sure to water the mouth of even the most reserved critics.
To round off our list of perfect places to have breakfast in Montreal, we had to include something sweet at the end. Sure, some days you will want to have a full course, meat packed breakfast that is going to sustain you for the better part of the day, but every once in a while everybody gets a craving for something sweet. Waffles at Rue Rachel E are crunchy, warm and will satisfy your sweet tooth any day of the week.
